World-famous television nun, Mother Angelica, built the farm as the
cloistered home of the Poor Clare nuns. The immense complex features rock walls, marble floors, and 35 hand-crafted German
stained glass windows. A 15-foot tall hand carved Spanish wall separates the public from the cloistered nuns in the 200 seat
chapel.

Built in 1893 to provide a place of worship for Catholic immigrants to Birmingham, St. Paul's
Cathedral welcomes visitors with soaring twin octagon towers, stained glass, and a massive altar. Ave Maria Grotto Jersusalem in Miniature. Beautiful home of miniature sacred sites such as St. Peter's
Basilica and Bethlehem. The grotto is located on the grounds of St. Bernard Abbey, the only Benedictine Abbey in Alabama.
